Sin and The City
The first two weeks of June are devoted to inner city evangelism.
The first was in Knoxville, Tennessee, in a troubled area infested with drugs, prostitution, violence and fear. Life is hard there.
The second week is in Indianapolis, Indiana. I will be working as part of the ICE team, part of the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
This will be much like the Knoxville evangelistic thrust, except in a bigger area.

God loves to do the impossible
Knoxville ~ Teen Challenge Ministries has organized a TENT REVIVAL (June10-13) featuring a mass choir and great preaching by local inner city pastors. My part in this was to come and evangelize the streets preaching the Gospel one-on-one the week prior to the tent meeting.
Inner city specialist, John Shelton, flew in from Dallas, Texas, to team with me in this effort to reach the lost in a particularly hurting neighborhood. Other team members included Evangelists Mark Shoemaker and Mark Bryant as well as other personal soulwinners from the Knoxville area.
There were 16 people we know of who believed on The Lord Jesus Christ while we were there. Over 80 times we presented the Gospel personally to individuals and groups of individuals.
Boys and girls, men and women gave their all to Christ.
Children at a birthday gathering were saved.
A prostitute hooked on heroin was saved.
A man looking for a prostitute was saved.
GOD LOVES TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE!
Indianapolis
I fly out of Knoxville in the morning with Indianapolis as my destination for the coming week of inner city evangelism.
The ICE team this time will consist of 20 men from around the country converging on Indy purposed to present the love of Christ to as many people there as possible.
I am really looking forward to working alongside these gifted soulwinners in the hurting areas of Indianapolis.
PLEASE PRAY THAT WE WILL BE CONSTANTLY WALKING IN HIS FULNESS.
We are trusting God to provide everything we need to fulfill our purposes for Him while we're there.
THE TIME IS HERE! WILL YOU PRAY, WILL YOU INTERCEDE FOR US?
This effort will last a full week, and we will be out on the streets witnessing till dark everyday, rain or shine.
