In this issue of The Prayer Life we are once again called to prayer by some of the truly great warriors of both the present and past. I am told that in the month of April the number of readers of this monthly online magazine has increased and once again the number of newly established prayer closets based on Matthew 6:6 has doubled. It is the purpose of this monthly magazine to encourage closet praying. No serious Bible scholar of our day would deny that the church has lost it's concept of sin and hell. The hope we have of victory in these last days is through the intimate prayer life we can have with our Lord in the closet. My strong conviction is that should revival come in our day it will come through the closet.Beginning with this issue, The Prayer Life will carry a monthly article "With a Song in My Heart for Him" by Deborah Gillespie. This article will feature some inspirational thoughts as well as amazing photography. Also read in this issue what Robert G. Lee preached about the importance of prayer. Learn more about Pauline Praying by reading F. B. Meyer's message "The Prayer of Intercession". Prevailing Persistent Prayer is forcefully given in R. A. Torrey's message "Keep Praying Until God Answers".May God use this issue to edify all believers in the faith of our fathers; "For by it (faith) the elders obtained a good testimony" (Heb. 11:12). In obedience to Christ's command in Matthew 6:6, the most humble believer can begin to know the power of prayer and by faith know the depth of our Lord's love, which cannot intellectually be understood.Sincerely in the closet for you,
