I am happy to report a large number of newly established prayer closets since I last corresponded with the thousands who are regular readers of The Prayer Life.  Many of these are from the results of church PrayerLife Conferences conducted in several churches, but most are from you, the readers.  Several who have responded by telephone brought great encouragement to me.

The excitement of having access to the Throne of God through the shed blood of Jesus, creates a freedom of the soul to take everything (small or great) to Jesus who urges us to "cast all our burdens on Him."  Be blessed by reading in this issue "The Rent Veil" by C. H. Spurgeon.  Andrew Murray makes clear that we are indeed reconciled with the blood and given the privilege to pray specifically for the lost souls around us.  For heart moving thoughts of victory as we celebrate the Resurrection, read The Preacher's Wife column.

My prayer is that your heart will over-flow with joy in the closet as we witness to this world of blinded eyes telling of the power of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ our Lord.

Thank you for the many emails.

In the closet for you,

W. Clyde Martin
