Prayer Partner Letter
spacerspacerDear Prayer Partner:
I write you with an enthused yet desperate heart. I am enthused as I
receive your e-mails telling me of newly established prayer closets. I
am desperate to see another spiritual awakening such as has been seen in
past years. It would appear true, spiritual awakening always begins
with desperate souls . . . desperate praying saints that are concerned
about apathy of professing Christians; desperate praying children of
God, hungry for holiness of heart; desperate praying, broken hearted
believers that are willing to remove hindering sin barriers.
Frankly, I must say that I have found myself recently engaged in too
many nonchalant, happy go lucky prayer meetings that border on being
nothing more than fellowship gatherings to satisfy the obligation of
attending another scheduled time of prayer. Today my closet is filled
with an urgent climate that puts tones of desperation in my voice. My
heart beats desperately and my hunger for another mighty moving of God
upon the dry land is coupled with a thirst that cries out to be
quenched. My heart cries for revival!
Your many e-mails indicate that more and more are becoming regular
readers of this monthly magazine. I pray that this July issue will
bless you and edify your closet time. Please continue to e-mail me your
prayer request. Each one is taken to the throne. It is an honor to be
your prayer partner.
Your heart will be encouraged and challenged as you read the messages of
Rev. Michael Souders and Rev. Vander Warner, Jr. Read and be blessed
with THE PREACHER'S WIFE comments and poem "Shipwrecked". You may
email Ruth (ruthrmartin@webtv.net) See Editor's Comments on Tozer's
Prayers
Sincerely in the closet,
W. Clyde Martin
